Abra, I love this and am following along. Unfortunately I know next to nothing about new releases so I would be horrible at this game but I am so appreciative of being exposed to some newer works that I will likely check out. Thanks!

Well, since I grew up in Mark Twain's hometown and have read and written about his work, I am certain I will be reading James. I am also a huge Louise Erdrich fan and am slowly working my way through her works. Of the rest, Small Rain and Creation Lake sound the most intriguing to me.
I JUST submitted mine!!! We have five the same so at least we will go down (partially) together. I haven’t read all the books I nominated so it’s completely based on instinct at this point 🤣
I haven’t read any of these (yet), but I did read Erasure this year. So my vote is for James for the same reason as yours 😁
