Hello readers,

What have you been doing with yourselves lately? Here are the few of the best things I did last week other than write a newsletter about what I’ve been reading:

  • Attended a performance of “If on a winter’s night a traveler” at Tucson’s The Rogue Theatre. It was superb and affirmed “live and local” as a theme worth pursuing over the next few months.

  • Sleep. I don’t do this well, but I’ve been practicing.

  • Listening to “The Good Whale” podcast. Dramatic and fascinating. Highly recommend if you have a family car trip coming up this week.

  • Walking at least an hour most days, with friends when I can.

  • I’ve missed you though. I hope you’ve been reading and resting and enjoying the good people around you, too. If you newly subscribed and paid during my week off, welcome and thanks for your patience while I read:
