Founded by C. Max Magee, The Millions began as one of the original “book blogs” in 2003, and now operates as an online magazine edited by Sophia Stewart.
The YIR series is like a slightly off-beat advent calendar I look forward to every year. For the first three weeks of December, The Millions publishes at least one of these essays per day.
